(Messianic)

No promises, but I may live-stream tomorrow (the Sabbath). It’s been heavy on my heart to do so. If I do, I’ll explain why when I do.I’m not fully experienced with the live-stream mechanics, so there may be some trial and error.I’ll try to give a heads up before I go live, and I will try to make sure it stays up so it can be watched later. If you who follow this page would be so kind, say a prayer for me to speak what is necessary and inspired and only to do so in Yah’s timing. Thank you, and Shabbat shalom. ... See MoreSee Less

Currently trying to make sense of the relationship between the Light made on Day One of Creation and how it relates to Messiah. I can only say, for now, that I believe it has to do with how the Supernatural is able to interact with the Natural. That “Light” connects the two.In the same way, Yeshua is the “Light” that connects God and Man. Still working it out, will post more when confident enough. ... See MoreSee Less

I KNOW MORE THAN YOUThere is a problem that has been growing amongst believers for a very long time, and I believe it got even worse in the last 20-30 years, and that problem is being “puffed up with knowledge”. There are a lot of spaces where the knowledge one has makes them feel superior to others, but it hardens their hearts and boosts their ego and pride. Knowledge itself isn’t inherently bad or wrong, but it can become a type of idol and make a believer feel as though they are an elite class within an imaginary hierarchy within God’s Kingdom.Let’s look at 1 Corinthians 8:“Now about food sacrificed to idols: we know that, as you say, ‘We all have knowledge.’ Yes, that is so, but ‘knowledge’ puffs a person up with pride; whereas love builds up. The person who thinks he ‘knows’ something doesn’t yet know in the way he ought to know. However, if someone loves God, God knows him.”Sha’ul (Paul) is addressing the matter of food sacrificed to idols, but takes a moment to address these people who “know better” as seems to be the case. Long story short, Sha’ul agrees that the idols are nothing and therefore the food is not tainted. However, he also addresses something they, in their “knowledge”, had not taken into consideration which is that their actions (through their puffed up knowledge) may cause others “weaker” or possibly younger in the faith to stumble.Think of the scenarios we have today. Some are OK drinking strong drinks, but in doing so could cause a weaker or younger believer to stumble in their faith. A believer might be strong enough to handle a horror movie, but in doing so might cause a new believer distress. Sha’ul takes this opportunity to say that he’s aware that food sacrificed to idols is meaningless because these idols are nothing, but the weaker in the faith could be destroyed because of it (vs 11). As such, he brings the conversation back to Love.“To sum up, if food will be a snare for my brother, I will never eat meat again, lest I cause my brother to sin.”(vs 13)Today, people are all too proud and are far too eager to display how much more “holier” they are because they know some obscure fact about First Century Jerusalem and a younger or weaker believer is left feeling inadequate because there is some sort of “gap” between their knowledge and the speaker’s. This is not love. Love is found in the message that while we were still sinners, Messiah died for us all (Rom. 5:8). It doesn’t matter if you’ve been a believer for thirty years or three days, he died for us all - young and old (consider the parable of Matthew 20:1-16).Don’t let your knowledge be the reason a believer falls away. Compared to the Almighty, we are vapors in the wind - here’s today, gone tomorrow. Stay humble.James 4:142 Corinthians 4:18 ... See MoreSee Less
