Hebraic Perspectives
Quick update:I’m still preparing some studies. I’m planning on releasing them on the website, so they will appear as links rather than just images with text on this page. With that said, aside from the “Torah Today” series, I’ve been leaning more into the Moral Argument. In short, it’s one of the greatest arguments in favor of proving God’s existence I’ve ever run across. What’s so beautiful to me about it is it shows how goodness is beyond the human will and must ultimately come from moral law-giver - God Almighty. And to know beyond a shadow of a doubt whether that’s true or not, you must look at the death and resurrection of Messiah. Anyways, more content is coming and hopefully they will serve as tools and information for aiding in daily life AND ministering to people in need of a savior. Say a prayer for me - this information needs to be in line with God’s will and not my own. ... See MoreSee Less

Hebraic Perspectives
NEWS, UPDATES, AND CLARIFICATIONSI've been taking a break from social media, but I'm still working "behind the scenes" to bring about more teachings and information. But there are few things I want to address._______1. In case you didn't know, I do have a website at www.hebraicperspectives.com which took a bit of a hiatus but I'm currently working on a new series which will probably be an ongoing thing called "Torah Today". It will cover many (but not all) things in the Torah that Believers can use in their everyday lives that they may not have considered and how it relates to Messiah. One of the many failings of the modern-Christian church is they ignore the Torah in the same manner others may ignore the Messiah. I hope to show how relevant it is - even today. In essence, many do not believe in Yeshua as Messiah because of believers who do not accept the Torah. Avid students of the Torah know full well that if any prophet did anything against the Torah, or disbanded it through word or action, they were considered a false prophet (Deut. 13). There's then no way they could accept Yeshua (a.k.a. Jesus) as Messiah if believers teach he "did away with the Law", which he never did. So it is my hope to restore in my hearts and minds that Torah is still very important and worth their time and attention. Not only that, but the many blessings we can benefit from for obeying the instructions of Love found in the Torah are astounding.2. This page was always intended to be about Scripture studies. I share information about the Bible, about Prophecy, encouraging passages and quotes, and many other things. One thing I never intended for it to be was a place of debate. With that said, I understand that debate/discussion is a rather large part of being a believer and especially a teacher. It's not, however, something I enjoy because of the human emotion that is attached to these sorts of topics. Emotion and disinformation run rampant today and it has made it increasingly more and more difficult to break through it all.As such, one thing that has become a rather hot topic of late is whether the current state of Israel (and as such, the Jews) are still God's chosen people even today. If I'm being honest, this is just common sense, so I didn't really expect anyone (especially a believer) to argue against it regardless of me knowing there are believers who believe in replacement theology. Nonetheless, I've been improperly prepared for such pushback. That's is one of my failings as a teacher; one I hope to correct. Logically, I know Israel has always been in rebellion against God. That's basically their entire story from start to present. It's why we have so many writings from the Prophets. Israel has been told time and time again to repent of their sin and turn back to God and His Ways. But Israel rebelled, would be exiled, would face judgement, etc.. However, God never abandoned them. Why? Because He chose them, not because they're so great and perfect, but because they are such a small people, and as such, He would use them to prove how great He is. He made promises toAbraham, Isaac, Jacob (Israel) and held fast to those promises and holds fast to those promises all the way until the end times and beyond. The argument often is that Israel (or the Jews, as the arguer often cites) does not believe in Yeshua, therefore, they are an apostate and can't possibly be God's chosen people. The problem with this logic, however, is that they have always been an apostate. That's kind of the point. God chose the smallest of all peoples, the often times weakest, and the often times most rebellious. But, God is faithful. He made a promise, and He does not and will not break His promises (Deut. 7 on this matter). The bigger picture is that Israel (and those grafted in - a.k.a. believers/the church) are all co-inheritors to that promise. The entire idea is that of a wedding where the Groom (Messiah) calls upon his Bride (God's chosen) and marries her. The Bride is however, often, unfaithful. But the Groom IS faithful. He makes the sacrifice the Bride cannot. Think on that. Would you that every time you made a mistake, or were at your worst, prefer that your spouse, parents, or your God would cast you out? That's the beauty of our God; He is patient, gracious, merciful, slow to anger... that's because He is so good, and it's to our benefit (consider the Prodigal Son in Luke 15). Scripture teaches us that ALL Israel will be saved (Rom. 11:26). Future-tense. Does that mean we dismiss any current failings of Israel? Certainly not, we should hold people accountable for their mistakes. But that doesn't change God's eternal, unbreakable promises. In Jeremiah 3, God issues this message to "faithless" Israel:"‘Return, faithless Israel,’ declares Yehovah, ‘I will frown on you no longer, for I am faithful,’ declares Yehovah, ‘I will not be angry forever.Only acknowledge your guilt— you have rebelled against Yehovah your God,you have scattered your favors to foreign gods under every spreading tree, and have not obeyed me,’”declares Yehovah."Even after giving her a certificate of divorce (vs. 8..), He still calls her back.Yah. Is.Good.So in matters pertaining to Israel (or the Jews), I will consider them as Scripture considers them - chosen. And as such, I will continue to look on the nation that God will use to prove He is God. They maintain the oracles of God, the Torah, and the Promises. They maintain the Land of Israel which Messiah shall return to and set up his Kingdom to reign from. We so-called "Gentiles" (though if you are in Covenant, you are grafted into Israel and no longer a foreigner) benefit from that. It's ALMOST like getting a free ride. And for your consideration, if you look at major events related to Israel, you can almost always see the world shaken by them. An event happens, a natural disaster often follows (often in America). It's worth watching out for. Perhaps one day I'll share a timeline of events where Israel was attacked or a nation spoke out against them and there was a natural disaster that followed. You'd be shocked at how often this happened. An unexplained uptick in tornados, tsunamis, wildfires, etc. It is truly astonishing to see (for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear)._______FINAL THOUGHTSAt the end of the day, I'm just a man. I'm not God, I'm not Messiah, and I'm certainly not a prophet. But I love God and His Word, and I will stand on His Word and His Promises as long as I live. I will always share His goodness with whomever is willing to listen. I will always try my best to give a reason for my hope in Him, but if some do not accept what I have to say or share, I'll simply kick the dust off my feet and carry on. It's about lifting up the Name of Yehovah, and introducing the world to Yeshua Messiah. Thank you for your time. Shalom. ... See MoreSee Less
