Shalom one and all.

I consider this message to be one of the most important works I have written up to this point of my life. I have written three books and have posted several blog posts over the course of my ministry, but this one is somehow different. As the one that has studied these Passages and know the end result of it, I see it differently than all my other writings as well as feel an air of relevance and urgency in it. I have been working on this for some time now, but, everything happens according to His timing and not ours.

With all this said, I write all of this with patience and careful consideration. I want each post (there will be multiple) to be carefully worded and clear. I hope and pray that anyone who reads these words will see the message clearly with no confusion and complete understanding.

In today’s time, there is a great emphasis on future-prophecy and how things will come to an end. There is a lot of talk about survival and there is also a lot of talk based out of fear of the events expected to happen. Once the message begins below, it will only be what the Almighty has revealed to me, but right now, this is my own personal observation and opinion; I think there is too much focus on the threat of death and the fear of the unknown. Prophecy is a topic that is vastly misunderstood, and I believe the message to follow is a type of course correction for the hearts and minds of believers near and far to where I am.

As I have watched world events unfold, I have seen many things come to pass and things pop up as precursors of prophetic events yet to happen. Our Father in Heaven has corrected my understanding on many things and has for whatever reason chosen that this message be written by my hands. However, I do not believe I’m going to be the only one to post or say these things. This is strictly a statement of faith, but I understand I’m only a small cog in a great machine and with a message so important, it’s “all hands on deck” as far as I’m concerned.

Now, with my mind spoken, I’ll hold my peace. From here on, this is all of what has been revealed to me. I pray that I now fade and the voice of the Almighty speaks loud and clear through me in the posts to come.

THE HEART OF THE MATTER – PT. 1

What is prophecy? The most common understanding is when someone is told or shown something about the future. Unfortunately, it has largely become a type of “fortune-telling,” but that is not at all the correct use or intention behind it.

If you read the Scriptures, and more specifically the writings of the Prophets, you will see a theme where the people have sinned, the Prophet is inspired by Yah (Yehovah) and told to tell the people what will happen as a result of their sin, BUT, are told to repent (or Teshuva; to turn from sin and back toward Elohim) which will disband the need for judgment. However, sometimes the people do not repent, therefore, the foretold judgment manifests.

Prophecy is not to tell the future, it is to warn of impending judgment as the result of sins as a call to turn from our wickedness and back on the path of righteousness.

Now, let’s start with our first passage of Scripture from the Prophet Jeremiah which we will focus on for this installment of the message.

!NOTE: It is also important to understand that some prophecies were for the time/s they were written (i.e. BCE), but they are also applicable for each person and nation on earth. Some prophecies are for events that haven’t even happened yet (which we will get into in future installments). Each warning is worth heeding regardless of who is being spoken to.

Jeremiah 16:10-13

“When you tell this people all that I have said, and they ask you, ‘Why has Yehovah decreed all this terrible disaster against us? What is our iniquity, what is our sin, that we have committed against Yehovah our God?’then you are to say to them, ‘It is because your ancestors abandoned me, says Yehovah, and went after other gods, serving and worshiping them, but abandoned me and did not keep my Torah. And you have done worse than your ancestors, for — look! — each of you lives according to the stubbornness of his own evil heart, so that you don’t listen to me.Therefore I am thrusting you out of this land into a land you have not known, neither you nor your ancestors; and there you will serve other gods day and night; for I will show you no favor.’”

Though written around 600 BCE, these words are still relevant to today. We still see the same issues where people have lived lives of iniquity and their lifestyles pass down to their children who live even worse than their fathers.
Yah judges according to His Torah. We see in this instance that He is bringing judgment down on these people “because your ancestors abandoned me” which is in line with Deuteronomy 5:9.

“…you are not to bow down to them or serve them; for I, Yehovah, your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sins of the parents, also the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.”

He not only gave this as a standard in the Torah, but here we see that He is using this very standard against these people, even after having the warning given in the Torah generations prior.

Likewise, per the prophecy in Jeremiah, we still see the affects of these things today whereas the people were thrust out of the land shortly after the warning. They were warned, but Jerusalem was destroyed as described in Jeremiah 39.

The Temple was rebuilt and stood up until about 600 years later (circa 68 CE). The Prushim (Pharisees) started up between the time of the rebuilding and the time of the most recent exile. They themselves became corrupt and Yeshua came to drive it home that they were nothing more than whitewashed tombs and hypocrites, adding to and subtracting from Torah, and being of their father, Satan, the father of lies and a murderer (Matthew 23).

Shortly after, Yeshua prophesied of the very event that would cause the fulfillment of the Jeremiah prophecy in Matthew 24:2 saying in reference to the Temple, “I tell you, they will be totally destroyed – not a single stone will be left standing!” As you can see, it’s like history repeats itself. People change for a time, but eventually, they fall again. It can cause the reader to think, “What is wrong with them!?”

But Jeremiah’s prophecy continued. It held true for the time, but is also true of the destruction and exile of 68 CE:

vs. 14-15
“‘Therefore,’ says Yehovah, ‘the day will come when people will no longer swear, “As Yehovah lives, who brought the people of Isra’el out of the land of Egypt,”but, “As Yehovah lives, who brought the people of Isra’el out of the land to the north and out of all the countries where he drove them”; for I will bring them back to their own land, which I gave to their ancestors.“

Many prophecies have two-fold meanings and interpretations. We see this with the Passover when there was the initial Passover event in Exodus, but there was a greater fulfillment when Yeshua was crucified as the Lamb of Yah in the Gospels.
1948 was the latter fulfillment of this prophecy which still continues to this day where people are regathering in the Land of Israel.

Note how Yah words things in the next part:

vs. 16-18
“I will send for many fishermen, and they will fish for them. Afterwards, I will send for many hunters; and they will hunt them from every mountain and hill and out of caves in the rocks. For I see all their ways; they are not hidden from me; their crimes are not concealed from my eyes. First, I will pay them back double for their crimes and sins; because they have defiled the land which is mine; they have filled my heritage with the corpses of their horrors and abominations.”

I’m sure you can think of a time when Jews were hunted in such a manner, which I will not rehash here.

But what’s it all for? These words continue well into the next chapter which I greatly encourage you to read on your own, but I will bring up a few points to help with later additions to this larger message:

vs. 19
“Yehovah, my strength, my fortress, my refuge in time of trouble, the nations will come to you from the ends of the earth, saying, ‘Our ancestors inherited nothing but lies, futile idols, completely useless.’ Can a person make himself gods? (In fact they aren’t gods at all.)”

17:1
“Y’hudah’s (Judah’s) sin is written with an iron pen; with a diamond point it is engraved on the tablet of their hearts and on the horns of your altars.”

17:5
“A curse on the person who trusts in humans, who relies on merely human strength, whose heart turns away from Yehovah.”

17:7-10
“Blessed is the man who trusts in Yehovah; Yehovah will be his security. He will be like a tree planted near water; it spreads out its roots by the river; it does not notice when heat comes; and its foliage is luxuriant; it is not anxious in a year of drought but keeps on yielding fruit. “The heart is more deceitful than anything else and mortally sick. Who can fathom it? I, Yehovah, search the heart; I test inner motivations; in order to give to everyone what his actions and conduct deserve.”

I will end this here while still encouraging you to read the entirety of this section in Jeremiah, however, I want to bring out a parallel between Jeremiah 17:1 and Jeremiah 31:33 (32 CJB):

17:1
“Y’hudah’s (Judah’s) sin is written with an iron pen; with a diamond point it is engraved on the tablet of their hearts and on the horns of your altars.”

31:33 (32 CJB)
“’For this is the covenant I will make with the house of Isra’el after those days,’ says Yehovah: ‘I will put my Torah within them and write it on their hearts; I will be their God, and they will be my people.’”

Where there is Judgment, there is also hope. You are not hopeless nor are you a lost cause. Yah warns us time and time again. As we have seen already with just this one passage, Yah warns people, there can be judgment, then repentance; but history tends to repeat itself, and Yah knows this. “There is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9). The important thing is not to lean on our own strength or understanding, nor that of others. We must fully lean on the Almighty and His Words and Promises. We have seen the “doom and gloom” of cities being destroyed and there are still yet more to be destroyed according to other prophecies which we will get into more in future installments.

Nonetheless, the focus should not be on trying to survive it or panicking; it is a matter of repentance – a change of the heart. Let him write a new story upon your heart. He is a holy (kadosh) Elohim (God), therefore, so should His people and children be set-apart as He is set-apart.

Deuteronomy 32:9, “But Yehovah’s share was his own people, Ya’akov (Jacob/Israel) his allotted heritage.”

Selah (stop and think on these things)
